Description:
United Way Alberta Northwest is for a marketing/event assistant.
As a small team, we would like help in promoting our charitable initiatives, building brand awareness, and driving engagement with our mission. This position requires a creative and strategic thinker who can execute marketing campaigns, manage various channels, and contribute to the overall success of our organization and fundraising campaigns.
Campaign Management:
Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns to promote our charitable programs and events.
Collaborate to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Content Creation:
Develop compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email, and print materials.
Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication platforms.
Create visually appealing and impactful content.
Social Media Management:
Manage and grow our social media presence, creating engaging and shareable content.
Monitor trends, analyze social media data, and adjust strategies to increase reach and engagement.
Respond to inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Collaboration and Relationship Building:
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and cross-promotion.
Event Support:
Assist in the planning and promotion of charity events, ensuring maximum attendance, participation and sponsorship.
Create marketing materials for events and coordinate promotional activities.
Capture and share event highlights through various marketing channels.
