Applied Research Involving Humans Subjects
Consistent with the policy requirements of Tri-Council (NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR) and our institution, any applied research that our faculty or staff are involved with, either as Principal Investigator or
Collaborator or with external collaborators, requires an Ethics Review.
Human subject research is guided by the Research
and Ethics Policy: Research Involving Humans. Anyone planning to conduct research involving human
subject must read and understand this policy.

The Research Ethics Board meets quarterly in January, April, August and November and will review Applications for
Ethics approval at that time.
